Quincy Center, Quincy, MA
370,000 Square Foot
Eight parcels were assembled to put the President’s Place development together. Since it was located in Quincy Center, the project enjoyed the full support of the city’s zoning authorities.
The building consists of 300,000 square feet of office space and 70,000 square feet of retail space on the first floor. In addition, Acorn built a 1,200 space car garage which remains among the three largest private garages in Massachusetts. The office building is eight stories tall and is made of polished granite and red brick. A unique feature of the building is that the parking garage accesses each floor of the office space.
Built in the late 80’s the building was quickly leased to such tenants as Harvard Community Health. It overlooks the Church of the Presidents, which is the final resting place for John Adams and John Quincy Adams and their wives.
